Chocolate Flake Bars

So, how produce you lot experience close soft, warm, chocolate flake cookies?? How close that flavour inwards bar form? Because that is just what these bars gustatory modality like! Since non everyone is a chocolate lover inwards my family, I needed to brand something that they could savour piece everyone else was enjoying the chocolate wacky cake for my mom's birthday.

My dad requested that I endeavor making a chocolate flake cookie bar that he remembered having growing up. (No pressure level in that place trying to duplicate your grandma's recipe!) We had a partial recipe from my grandma, just or then things were left upwards to interpretation. After or then guessing, together with looking through other recipes, this was the cease result! H5N1 thick, soft, chocolaty cookie bar.

These are neat lonely (right from the oven!) or alongside a scoop of vanilla H2O ice cream on top! Have a neat weekend everyone! :)

Chocolate Chip Bars

Yield: 24 bars

Ingredients

1 C granulated sugar
1 C brownish sugar
2 eggs
1 C oil
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp salt
2 tsp cream of tartar
2 tsp baking soda dissolved inwards 1 tbsp hot water
3 1/2 C all-purpose flour
2/3 C chocolate chips

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease a 9x13 cake pan alongside non-stick cooking spray.
Using an electrical or stand upwards mixer, shell together sugars together with eggs until creamy. Add inwards oil, vanilla, salt, cream of tartar, together with dissolved baking soda. Beat until combined. Gradually add together inwards flour scraping downwards the sides of the bowl every bit necessary until well-combined. Stir inwards chocolate chips. Dough volition hold upwards thick.
Press dough inwards pan.
Bake for 25 minutes or until the overstep turns lite golden brown. Do non over bake.
Remove pan to a wire rack together with cool for five minutes earlier cutting into bars.
